Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This policy explains what information Farsight ("we", "us") collects when you visit this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. Farsight is run by Jay Patel. Contact: farsightmag@gmail.com.
Information you give us
If you sign up for the free issue email or send us an advertising inquiry, we collect the email address and any details you type into the form. We use this only to send you Farsight and to reply to you. We do not sell your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or writing to farsightmag@gmail.com.
Puzzle scores and music settings (such as volume or mute) are saved only in your own browser and are not sent to us.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) records basic technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, the page visited and the time of the visit. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
Advertising and cookies
Farsight shows advertising to stay free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices. If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant to you.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Links to other sites
Farsight links to other websites, such as our Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages and advertisers' sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Children
Farsight is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing farsightmag@gmail.com. Residents of California and other places with privacy laws have these rights too.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
